On behalf of my co-authors and contributors, I am pleased to share the Asia-Pacific Forest Sector Outlook Study III. As a lead author to Chapter 6 titled: Environmental challenges threaten – and countries seek ways to increase ecosystem services, the Chapter explores multiple environmental challenges – including climate change, biodiversity loss, watershed degradation and rising demand for forest amenity, which have emerged in recent decades as drivers of the forest agenda in the Asia-Pacific region. The third Asia-Pacific Forest Sector Outlook Study (APFSOS III) was launched June 18, 2019 at the Asia-Pacific Forest Week 2019 held from 17-21 June in Incheon, Republic of Korea.
